            *** 1 FATAL ***
            ***Delayed Report*** A partially submerged
            vehicle was found in the North Branch
            Callicoon Creek at around 7 AM July 29.
            Further investigation indicated that the
            vehicle was traveling northbound along a
            road parallel to the creek and struck a
            telephone pole before crashing into the
            creek. The deceased driver was located
            several hours later approximately 2.5 miles
            downstream. Specific cause of death is
            unknown at this time, however, widespread
            flooding was ongoing on Callicoon Creek and
            tributaries. The exact incident time is
            subject to change but the accident likely
            occurred several hours before it was
            discovered.
