07/18/2026                   Delaware           NY   NWS Storm Survey

            Corrects previous tstm wnd dmg report from 2
            E Peabrook. Survey team found a microburst
            that was approximately 0.7 miles in length
            and 0.3 miles in width. The microburst began
            up on a hill approximately 0.5 miles
            west-northwest of the intersection of
            Anderson and John Milk road. The microburst
            crossed John Milk road within the Hancock
            Forest Preserve, moved up the hill and ended
            approximately 0.25 miles east of John Milk
            road. Max wind speeds were estimated at 105
            MPH. Survey team was greatly assisted by the
            Delaware County Emergency Services.
