...Preliminary Storm Survey Scheduled for Wednesday for the Area
Near South Canaan in Wayne County PA...

The National Weather Service office in Binghamton NY will conduct
a storm survey Wednesday for the area near South Canaan in Wayne
County PA. The survey is in relation to the severe thunderstorms
that moved through the area on July 21, 2026.

A final assessment including results of the survey are expected
to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information
Statement by later Wednesday afternoon.

The storm survey information will also be available on our
website at https://www.weather.gov/bgm
