...Preliminary Storm Survey Scheduled for Thursday for the Area
Near South Brookfield in Madison County New York...

The National Weather Service office in Binghamton NY will conduct
a storm survey Thursday morning and possibly into the early
afternoon for the area near South Brookfield in Madison County
New York. The survey is in relation to the severe thunderstorms
that moved through the area on July 29, 2026.

A final assessment including results of the survey are expected
to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information
Statement by later Thursday afternoon.

The storm survey information will also be available on our
website at https://www.weather.gov/bgm
