...Preliminary Storm Survey Scheduled for late morning into the
afternoon for the Town of Barker and the Town of Greene in Broome
and Chenanago County NY...

The National Weather Service office in Binghamton NY will conduct
a storm survey during the late morning into the afternoon for the
towns of Barker and Greene, including the Village of Greene and
hamlet of Brisben, in Broome and Chenanago County NY. The survey
may be expanded into the Town of Oxford as necessary. The survey
is in relation to the severe thunderstorms that moved through the
area on July 22 2026.

A final assessment including results of the survey are expected
to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information
Statement by 5 PM.

The storm survey information will also be available on our
website at https://www.weather.gov/bgm
