The National Weather Service office in Binghamton NY will conduct
a storm survey around This afternoon for the area near Norwich in
Chenango County NY. The survey is in relation to the severe
thunderstorms that moved through the area on July 18, 2026.

A final assessment including results of the survey are expected
to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information
Statement by this evening.

The storm survey information will also be available on our
