...Preliminary Storm Survey Scheduled for Sunday, July 20 for
southeast Broome County to southwest Delaware County NY...

The National Weather Service office in Binghamton NY will conduct
a storm survey Sunday, July 20 for areas near Deposit and Hancock
in Broome and Delaware Counties NY. The survey is in relation to
the severe thunderstorms that moved through the area this
afternoon on July 19, 2026.

A final assessment including results of the survey are expected
to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information
Statement by late Sunday afternoon.

The storm survey information will also be available on our
website at https://www.weather.gov/bgm
