...NWS Meteorologists Confirm Tornado in Otsego County...

Storm surveyors from the National Weather Service office in
Binghamton NY have confirmed a tornado moved through Pittsfield
area of Otsego County NY. This survey is currently ongoing in
relation to the severe thunderstorms in the area on June 30 2026.

A final assessment, including results of the survey, are expected
to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information
Statement by late this afternoon.

The storm survey information will also be available on our
website at https://www.weather.gov/bgm
